Getting Fit In 2012 Update

Its now April, and I am still going strong. Turbo Fire is my motivation, the workouts keep me pumped up day after day. I don't feel board, and actually look forward everyday to my workouts. For the first time in my life I actually can say I am bummed when I don't get to workout. I still feel My Fitness Pal is the biggest help in my journey. (If you use this add me, my name is tiggy808) I use this everyday and keep track of all food I consume, and all exercise I complete. I also keep a food journal where I write down what I eat for each meal. I find myself more aware of what I am eating, which is helpful in making healthier food choices. I find that I don't crave certain foods and that I have way more will power to avoid foods. Before I would just eat whatever was easy, or available when I got hungry. I was not aware and did not know exactly what I was eating and how it would affect me later. Now think and fight myself before I make a poor food choice. I started this journey back in December 2011 and took it full force January 2012. I am pleased with my results this far and can't wait for the coming months. As of this date a total of 11.5 pounds have been shed.

This has not been easy, but with all the tools and networking it has made this journey a lot easier. I look forward to each day, and keep looking for new ways to get further along. New things to eat, new people to network with, and just knowing that I am doing my health a whole lot of good! I wish more would join in and Get Fit in 2012, its not to late to start and what better time than now. Even if its just one thing, maybe walking for 30min each day, or cutting out soda from your daily intake. Whatever it maybe any little thing can be the biggest difference.

Keep following me as I will keep posting tips along the way which have been a huge help for me. Till next time just think about what change you could do for yourself. You may be surprised at what a little change can do, which will lead to more.

Yummy Low Cal Snack

This is my new favorite snack. Its quick, easy and low in calories. If you like peanut butter, I recommend trying PB2. Its a powder form that you mix with water. It cuts out a lot of the junk in regular peanut butter.

There is only 3 ingredients: Roasted Peanuts, Sugar and Salt. I find that you can add water as recommended, but adjust to your liking.

For this snack I used
 2 corn thins (44cal)
 half a banana (53cal)
1tbs PB2 (23cal)
1tsp honey for flavor (13cal)
This snack is very satisfying and locks in at 133 calories.
